Planning Coordinator

Job summary: Under the VP Operations’ supervision, the Planning Coordinator is responsible for sequencing the lots to produce, to verify availability of components and raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Sequence manufacturing and packaging of the products according to identified company’s needs and priorities
• Distribute planning schedule
• Deduct raw materials used from inventory
• Update various activity reports
• Cost analysis
• Workload analysis
• Update the Excel system used for inventory management
• Perform any other tasks at the request of the VP Operations
• Maintain release listing
• Communicate priorities to all departments concerned for product release to ship orders within the prescribed delays and avoid back-order stock status

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years planning experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Bilingualism (French/English) spoken and written (communication with suppliers and customers outside Quebec)
• Knowledge of GMP
• MS Office (advanced Excel)
