Quality Assurance Associate, Continuous Improvement

BIOVECTRA Inc. has an opening for a Quality Assurance Associate, Continuous Improvement This is a 15-month term position located in Charlottetown, PEI.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Develop, analyze, and report Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Incident and CAPA metric, SLA, Downtime, BPR Review, Right First Time, Batch Release to identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversight of the CAPA program, including issuance, verification, weekly reporting, and support.
• Supporting teams with identification of opportunities and execution of improvement projects.
• Preparing and facilitating idea generation workshops with operators and management.
• Administration of EQMS (Electronic Quality Management Systems such as MasterControl).
• Assessing, proposing, and supporting current and future enhancements to the electronic system implementation with BIOVECTRA.
• Reviewing and initiating revisions to SOPs.
• Participating in internal and external audits.
• Manage ticketing system through timely delegation, escalation, and completion of user queries/events.

The successful candidate for this position should have:

• Post-Secondary Education.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field an asset.
• Minimum 3 years work experience in a Quality role including direct working knowledge of incident investigation and CAPA programs.
• Proven ability to create and execute project plans that achieve identified targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong decision-making skills, ability to lead effective meetings and cross functional teams.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of Lean/continuous improvement principles and tools.
