Position Summary
As an integral member of Pharmacy Inventory Services, the Operations Leader is responsible for assisting the Inventory Manager in managing responsibility for daily inventory operations at all UHN sites. The Operations Leader will facilitate program development, and quality improvement activities within the department, while exemplifying UHN's values of caring, excellence, teamwork, innovation, integrity, leadership, and respect.
This is a dynamic and exciting position for a pharmacist, who will have a chance to work closely with a wide range of multidisciplinary healthcare leaders at UHN across all sites and have oversight of inventory operations with direct reports, working together to provide exemplary care for patients. The pharmacy inventory operations leader will assist in the management of drug shortages, procurement, storage, and management of pharmaceutical inventory to ensure our pharmacy operates efficiently and complies with all regulatory standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to analyze trends to maintain optimal stock levels while reducing waste and ensuring the availability of essential medications
