JOB SUMMARY:
As the Data & Analytics Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge on a real-world project relating to data structuring, cleaning, transforming, loading, storing, consolidating, and visualizing.
Reporting to the Director, Data and Analytics the Data and Analytics, intern would work on a project requiring stakeholder input from cross-functional teams.
This is a great 3-month paid internship opportunity for third or fourth-year students, as well as new graduates looking for real-world experience. The project will encompass data consolidation, with implementation of ETL, data modelling, data setup, data mapping, data warehousing in preparation of utilizing AI and ML models.
REQUIREMENTS:
- ERP Systems Management: Ensure efficient operation and integration of ERP systems.
- Master Data Structures: Manage and maintain master data structures, including Bills of Materials and reporting attributes/dimensions.
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform: Utilize Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform offerings to support business operations.
- Business Central: Implement and manage Business Central solutions.
- Power Platform: Develop and maintain applications using the Power Platform.
- Microsoft Co-Pilot: Leverage Microsoft Co-Pilot for enhanced productivity and collaboration.
- Fabric: Work with Fabric to support data integration and management.
- Data Lakes: Manage and utilize data lakes for storage and analysis.
- Data Warehousing (SQL): Design, implement, and maintain data warehousing solutions using SQL.
- Python Programming: Apply Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
- Workflow Software (Power Flows): Develop and manage workflows using Power Flows.
- Data Cleaning: Perform data cleaning to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Statistics: Apply statistical methods to analyze data and support decision-making.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building, Automation, and Modelling of:
- Data gathering, identifying sources, and current data structures.
- Creating automation, where allowable, to move data to consolidated folders as a workflow data source (typically Excel, CSV, SQL data in the pre-cleaned/transformation state).
- Extracting and transforming data with a forward-looking solution (mitigation of current issues).
- Building SQL data structures/procedures to stage and move data to production.
- Building models to process data and generate predictions/insights.
- Building checks and balances for notification of data changes that may prompt updates to the workflow.
- Working with the Data Engineering team to implement automated solutions.
- Pulling the data into the Power BI repositories for visualization by our team and other teams.
- Transforming data into a new structure.
- Building visualizations where needed.
