How will you make an impact?

The Manufacturing Operator works on the manufacturing, assembly, and/or packaging of Bio-Process Containers in a clean room environment. They will carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents and blueprints or drawings as they relate to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging.

A Day in the Life:

  • Manually assemble tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industry.
  • Follow all written procedures. Report discrepancies in procedures (SOP's, PO's etc.) to the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Always ensure designated uniform is maintained in good condition and wear appropriate cleanroom apparel and gown daily
  • Follow aseptic technique guidelines.
  • Continuously monitor product for defects.
  • Read meters as needed for the weighing of products as required.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks.
  • Perform all work activities in a safe manner. Maintain a safe and clutter-free work area. Clean up all spills immediately.
  • Report property damage and/or safety hazards
  • Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements.
  • Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities.
  • Work with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excels in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good verbal/written communication.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product.
  • Ability to perform repetitive work duties.
  • Ability to follow SOPs.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Work in a clean-room which is a controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Wear gowning which includes: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like.
  • Lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted Push/pull up to 600 lbs. wheeled kettles.
  • Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping.
  • Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling.
  • Work with bodily fluids and be able to stand long hours
