We're looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Operations team in the role of Supervisor, Manufacturing.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the Safety and Engagement of an extraordinary group of A-Team Members in the Packaging Department
• Provide training, leadership, and guidance to team members on a day-to-day basis and in times of conflict.
• Ensure all team members are complying with all SOP's, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GDP (Good Documentation Practices), and other company policies including but not limited to the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and Health Canada's Cannabis Act.
• Maintaining all relevant Scheduling and Tracking data.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality and Maintenance teams to execute and maintain all batch production records by following all SOPs related forms to GMP & GDP Standards.
• Support the Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Team on training, investigations and audits
• Collaborate with the Plannign and Maintenance Teams on Equipment down time and preventative maintenance scheduling
• Maintain the proper information loop back to the Operations Manager by attending and participating in meetings as required.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals, objectives, and metrics by working with external departments.
• Work with Site Management to establish and manage current and long-term manufacturing objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and scheduling
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated leadership in a packaging environment with a focus on Best In Class GMP, performance and conflict management
• Strong communication, collaboration and organization skills across facets of Manufacturing, Packaging and Supply Chain.
• Process Improvement Mindset
• Familiar with a variety of Best-In-Class Packaging concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and work well under pressure and tight timelines.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer software applications, Microsoft office with a high proficiency in Excel

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience working with cannabis considered an asset
• 3-5 years' experience supervisory experience in a manufacturing, packaging or pharmaceutical environment
• 2-4 years' experience in a GMP/GDP environment is preferred
• Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate from a university, college, or technical institute

This role is in one of Aurora's Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certified plants and works directly with products. Towards the end of the recruitment process, we require that you undergo a medical screening exam with our third-party vendor.
