Job Summary:
The primary objective of the Quality Control Assistant is to assist laboratory personnel with daily activities including inventory management, housekeeping, record keeping, and data entry. The candidate will perform a variety of different tasks and their ability to be flexible, multitask, and prioritize is very important. Exceptional communication skills are necessary as the candidate will interact directly with team members and colleagues on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Follow company SOP's and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory equipment and consumables; order replacement supplies as needed.
  • Update records and any necessary paperwork.
  • Clean and prepare laboratory glassware for daily use.
  • Organize the disposal of laboratory cannabis and hazardous waste.
  • Input data to ERP system as required.
  • Assist laboratory personnel with other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A college diploma education is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite including Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Excellent grammar and communication skills required.
  • High attention to detail necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work in team and individual environments.
  • Accurate in transcribing data in different media (paper & electronics).
