LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking an Order Input Operator to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This is an important role in patient care and our business. This role will allow you to see the difference that you make in patients’ lives.

Status: On-site part-time temporary role
Shift: Afternoon shift; 1:00pm - 9:00pm
Discipline: CCO FIT

Reports to: FIT Program Supervisor
Number of positions: 2
Start Date: ASAP

This vacancy is for an existing position.

Purpose: Input information from incoming FIT requisitions into FIT application for validation resulting in either FIT Kit mailed to the participant or movement of the order for continued follow up.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Input of Information into FIT application referring to Data Entry SOP
  • Maintain participant confidentiality.
  • At times switching Queues and actioning orders in the Starting Queue Problem Queue.
  • Maintain productivity for order input/entry and handle 400 orders per shift with accuracy.
  • Maintain computer equipment, CPU, screen, and keyboard only.
  • Perform QA indicators using LifeLabs’ methods and procedures, consulting with Supervisor as required.
  • Awareness of basic LifeLabs EHS program and how to report any hazard or incident.
  • Ensure effective and timely professional communication with the Supervisor.

What you will bring to the role:

  • High School diploma
  • Excellent data-entry skills and input into systems
  • Able to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Windows knowledge an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to self-motivate
