Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Quality & Patient Safety, the Quality & Patient Safety Data Compliance Analyst provides analytical, and systems support for quality improvement initiatives within the unit; and in collaboration with the Director of Quality & Patient Safety, interprofessional team, and leads from CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) committees, and is responsible for coordinating the activities of clinical audits. Audit responsibilities include database development; working with leads from CCMB committees to analyze and interpret audit findings; and preparation of a written evaluation of results to support professional best practice using evidence-based decision-making, through patient safety and accreditation standards.
This position will focus on quality and patient safety analysis, development of quality/process improvement and risk management initiatives, measuring, monitoring and reporting on the achievement of defined quality, patient safety and accreditation goals and applying a range of qualitative and quantitative performance measurement analyses and quality improvement methods.
