Discover Impactful Work:

As a Lab Asset Service Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless service delivery. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to successfully implement customer-centric initiatives.

A day in the Life:

  • Work within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders and assets, including work order creation, updates, review, and closure.

  • Schedule daily work, including building daily vendor escorting schedules, customer communications, tracking and reporting of metric data; includes scheduling all vendor service events, collaborating closely to generate quotes, and seeking service reports

  • Cultivate strong relationships with vendors (escort vendors for onsite service events) and serve as the first point of contact for client concerns

  • Generate client-requested reports, including open work orders, work order status, and pending service requests.

  • Embody safety culture and promote a safe work environment.

  • Follow procedures and successfully apply good documentation practices in regulated record keeping.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in customer service roles

  • 2 years of related experience within a laboratory setting is preferred

  • Demonstrated success in improving customer happiness

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to determine and address customer needs efficiently

  • Dedication to delivering strictly high-quality service

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Computer/software skills (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Works primarily in an office environment, including cubicles, and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations, and laboratory environments. Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment may be worn (i.e. lab coat, safety glasses). Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Compensation

The salary range estimated for this position based in Canada is $41,900.00-$62,900.00.
