Look after our customers in the Canadian Region for Production Solutions
As a Thermal Treatment Specialist, you will be providing vital service by evaluating and developing chemical solutions focused on thermal fluid separation to bring additional value to our customers. You will take ownership of R&D projects to ensure Baker Hughes is providing cutting-edge chemical solutions for thermal producers to operate in a safe and compliant manner. You will be supporting our customer’s needs across Western Canada.
As a Thermal Treatment Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Introducing innovative products to the market that enhance value and address customer challenges in thermal production.
Advancing testing techniques and instrumentation to develop accurate and timely solutions for customers.
Performing field tests for fluid separation through chemical screening to optimize production and generate application recommendations.
Establishing correlations between field and laboratory tests to improve product recommendations for customers.
Assessing cross-product line offerings within the Baker Hughes portfolio to add value to treatment programs in thermal production.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of oilfield experience
Prior knowledge and proficiency with fluid separation testing and product evaluations within thermal production
History of product development and formulation within thermal fluid separation space
A motivated self-starter, proactively taking initiative to lead and solve problems with technical and analytical skills
Demonstrate an aptitude for building and maintaining trusted relationships with field staff and customers
Have a solid awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks
Have excellent verbal and written skills required for report creation for customers and internal teams
